RoseDog's search engine is designed to ensure a level playing field for all our writers. Results within all 'Focus' categories are randomized every 24 hours.
No preference is given to alphabetical order of titles or names, or to numerical order of manuscript ID numbers.
Results are delivered to readers of all types in blocks of 20 synopses. Readers make room for additional results by either 'deleting' or 'skipping' synopses. If a manuscript is deleted, it will never again appear in the reader's search results. If it is 'skipped', it will appear (in random order) the next time the reader programs search criteria which include it.
Manuscripts may also be 'Moved' into 'Manuscript Folders' for easy retrieval. Manuscripts filed into Manuscript Folders will never again appear in your Search Results (since you have already processed them by moving them to folders), however they WILL REMAIN IN THE SHOWCASE and will appear in other readers' Search Results (unless they too file them to Manuscript Folders).
If you wish to remove your work from the showcase completely, sign in and go to the Writers tab on the menu bar and choose the option 'Remove manuscript...'
